Seven hundred students of DPS Bokaro (Primary Wing) were felicitated with All Round Achievers Award at a grand function held in the school campus at Bokaro Steel City.
Neelam Ileen Toppo, District Education Officer, Bokaro Steel City was the Chief Guest of the occasion whereas DK Saha General Manager incharge (F&A) of Bokaro Steel Plant was the Guest of Honour on this occasion while NP Srivastav DGM, BSL was the special invitee on the occasion.
This ceremony was exclusively organised to acknowledge and appreciate the hard work, dedication and achievement of students in the context of holistic education. Addressing the students the Chief Guest said, “Hard work always pays in the long run. It is their persistent efforts towards the desired goal which has earned them this honour today.” Her words of appreciation included the diligent efforts of the teachers who made the school what it is today.
Speaking on the occasion, AS Gangwar, Principal DPS, Bokaro said,” Education at DPS Bokaro is about fostering a sense of responsibility for one’s actions, thoughts and deeds flavoured with the colours of life. We train children to grow up as complete individuals who are sensitive human beings and their performance in every field is exemplary.”
