The students of St Joseph's Coed showcased their talent in different fields. An Activity Day was organized at St. Joseph Co-ed School here on Friday.
Students participated in various competitions. There were different activities organised including Story Telling, Jingle writing, Painting, Singing, Calligraphy, Carrom Competition, Mental Ability Test, Spell Bee, Poster Mending, Web Opera (Computer), General Knowledge Quiz, Maths Model Making, Karate, Mono Acting, Collage Making and Badminton, Best out of Waste 3D model modeling, and more.
Many other competitions were held. These competitions were organized for students. Classroom 9th and 10th of Science 3D model competition by th students was held. In which the waves emanating from the mobile towers are causing damage to the birds and how our eco system is being affected which is causing various diseases as well as the use of water waves (geo thermal energy).
Students made acupancy sensors in which the conservation of electricity was told that it can be used for saving electricity in offices, schools, colleges and institutions. Students made a model of Chandrayaan 2 and explained how they are preparing to reach the moon. Students explained the way in which modern farming is done. All these models were made from low cost and eco friendly products. At the Best Out of the Waste, students made the model of new generation on the theme of Green Nature and spread awareness about enviornment.
For saving the environment, the students themselves made various useful things from the waste. Plastic bottle, old clothes, card board, plastic spoon, old newspaper, shoe racks, old socks, ice cream box, coffee cup students made pencil stand, bottle holder, lamps, flower pots, bags, doll tables.
