This school would usher in a new beginning in quality education in the area and children from the nearby villages would get education at par with urban areas, said Dhenkanal MP Mahesh Sahoo, inaugurating an Adarsha Vidyalaya at Rajmohanpur of Hindol in the district on Saturday.
Spread across a 25,000-sq feet area, the Model School has been built by the Tata Steel at a cost of nearly Rs 4.5 crore with modern amenities.
This is the second of the three Adarsh Vidyalayas constructed by the company in the district. While the one at Kamakhyanagar has already been handed over to the Government, another one is being constructed in Odapada block. Hindol MLA Seemarani Nayak, Dhenkanal Collector Bhumesh Chandra Behera and Tata Steel corporate services VP Chanakya Chaudhary were, among others, present.
