Deputy Commissioner Dhanbad Amit Kumar has declared three km radius of Barwada Airport as a no-flying zone on 12 December ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit.
PM’s election rally is scheduled to be held at Barwada Airport in Dhanbad on 12 December, his helicopter will land at the airport at Barwada hence the perimeter of 3 km is declared as no flying zone, said Kumar.
Ahead of PM’s visit entry of heavy vehicles will be banned in the city from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm on that day. In order to maintain law and order, a traffic map has been prepared for traffic operations, informed Kishor Kaushal Senior Superintendent of Police Dhanbad.
All types of heavy vehicles will ply from Shakti Chowk to Rajganj Road. While from Kisan Chowk towards Nirankari Chowk, all other types of vehicles would be banned except the vehicles going to be participating in the rally, said the SSP.
“Heavy vehicles will be operated from Govindpur and Baliapur via Balaji Petrol Pump and from Matkuria it will be banned (except for vehicles participating in the rally),” added SSP. Except for the vehicle participating in the rally, communication of heavy vehicles will be banned from New Delhi to Dhansar, from Binod Bihari Chowk to the airport, he informed. The entrance and parking of the administrative, press and VIP vehicles will be at Birsa Munda Stadium (from Memco turn towards Birsa Chowk), he said.
While the parking of vehicles participating in the rally will be in Dr. JK Sinha school grounds and on the side of the road, on the side of the road from Memco More to Goal Building, on the side of the road from Nirankari Chowk to Birsa Munda Chowk, he informed.
