All India Congress Committee (AICC) President Rahul Gandhi on Thursday formed various State-level committees for Chhattisgarh for upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
The committees include Pradesh Election Committee, Election Campaign Committee, Election Coordination Committee, Media Coordination Committee, and Election Publicity Committee.
As per official press communiqué issued by party’s National General Secretary Ashok Gehlot, party heavy weights of the State including Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, veteran Congress leader Motilal Vora, State Minister T.S. Singhdeo, Tribal leader and former Union Minister Arvind Netam, former CGPCC Chief Dhanendra Sahu, State Ministers Ravindra Chaubey, Md. Akbar, Shiv Daharia, senior leader Satyanarayan Sharma, Dehuti Karma and all the state chiefs of frontal organizations are members of Pradesh Election Committee.
The Election Campaign Committee comprises 35 senior state leaders, Election Coordination Committee comprises 20 leaders including Chhattisgarh In-charge of AICC for State P.L. Punia and Media Coordination Committee comprises 17 members including State Chairman of Communication Wing Shailesh Nitin Trivedi and Spokesperson Gyanesh Sharma.
