AJSU Party’s manifesto focuses on village issues

AJSU Party on Sunday released its manifesto for the upcoming State Assembly elections in Jharkhand. The party has named it vision document and announced that the party will go to polls with the slogan Abki Bar Gaon Ki Sarkar (This time Government of village).

Former Deputy Chief Minister Sudesh Kumar Mahto led AJSU Party, which is former ally of Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), is contesting the State Assembly election on its own this time.

 The manifesto was released in presence of all the senior leaders of the party including the party president Sudeah Kumar Mahto, Senior leader and MP from Giridih, Chandraprakash Chaudhary and AJSU Party Vice president, Umkant Razak.

Announcing main points of the manifesto, the party Spokesperson Deosharan Bhagat said that the party has promised to increase the caste-based reservation limit to 73 per cent. In addition to this, the party promises that graduate students will get an incentive of Rs 2100 each month.

The party has clarified its stand on local policy, saying that local policy will be decided on the basis of land records. The party has also assured full compliance with the Chhotanagpur Tenancy Act and Santhal Paragana Tenancy Act. The party Spokesperson said that the plans will be made at villages and applied in entire State. The villagers will be empowered. The concept of village self rule will be strengthened. The villagers will be empowered only on the basis of their views.

The party believes that Jharkhand will strengthen itself by strengthening the villages. All families who participated in Jharkhand Movement will get full respect. Apart from this, due respect will also be given to those who work on contract or honorarium including Anganwadi workers and Para teachers, the manifesto said.

After releasing its manifesto, AJSU Party announced its third list of candidates on Sunday.

The party announced names of eight candidates in third list – Ramjit Ganjhu from Kanke, Aquil Akhtar from Pakur, Shalini Gupta from Koderma constituency, Mangal Singh Soren from Jaggarnathpur, Birsa Munda from Manoharpur, Anant Ram Tudu from Saraikela, Sanjay Jarica from Kharsanwa and Durlabh Singh Munda from Tamar.

MP Chandraprakash Chaudhary and other leaders were present during the manifesto launch.
