All India Civil Services Kabaddi competition inaugurated

All India Civil Services Kabaddi competition was inaugurated on Friday at the martial arts hall located in TT Nagar Stadium. As many as men’s players 15 states and women players of 9 states are participating in the competition.

In the thrilling contest between Madhya Pradesh and Kerala, women players from Madhya Pradesh defeated Kerala by 52-08 points to win the unilateral win. Himachal Pradesh beat Kerala by 41-10 in other matches played in women's section. Besides, Maharashtra State defeated Karnataka State by 44-38 points and RSB Rajasthan defeated Haryana by 49-13 points.

Similarly, in the men's category, Pondicherry State has given Karnataka State by 48-29 points, Delhi NCT has got Kerala State from 38-23 points, State of Rajasthan defeated Andhra Pradesh by 39-19 points and 39-18 points.

During the match played between Madhya Pradesh and Kerala under All India Civil Services Kabaddi Competition, Director Sports and Youth Welfare SL Thoussen also existed He applauded the players by welcoming the players with a brilliant performance. On this occasion, the joint director, other officers including Vinod Pradhan were also present. Besides, famous international and star players of the country are also participating in All India Civil Services Kabaddi Competition. These include Rahul Chaudhary, Pradeep Narwal, Mohit Chillar, Amit Hooda and Sandeep Narwal of Delhi.

Meanwhile, on the second day of the 29th National Junior and Sub Junior Kayaking-Canoeing Competition held in city, Madhya Pradesh players earned 13 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze medals, out of which 11 were gold and 5 Bronze medals were given by the state water sports academy to Madhya Pradesh. Under the competition, it will be played 200 and 5000 meters on Saturday. It is notable that the water sports academy is trained under the guidance of Kayaking-Canoeing instructor Captain Pijush Bharoi and Assistant Trainer Ankush Bhardwaj.
