On the occasion of 5th International Yoga Day in Haryana, the Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be the chief guest in the state level function to be organised in district Rohtak on June 21. Chief Minister Manohar Lal will also be present on the occasion.
“The State Government would celebrate International Yoga Day in all the districts and assembly constituencies. Overall, the functions will be organized at 79 places in Haryana. Haryana Ministers, MLAs, MPs and other office bearers will be the chief guests of these functions,” said an official spokesman.
Haryana Vidhan Sabha, Speaker Kanwar Pal would attend the district level function as chief guest in Jagadhri of district Yamunanagar and Deputy Speaker Santosh Yadav in Ateli of Mahendragarh district.
Chief Secretary DS Dhesi said this while reviewing the arrangements and management of functions to be held on the occasion at state level and in assembly constituencies, on June 21 here. All arrangements related to organization of these functions have been completed, he added.
About three lakh participants will participate from the state, in which 21,000 participants will be from district Rohtak and Faridabad, besides this 5,000 participants will participate in the assembly level functions. The participants will mainly include students, different organizations of Arya Samaj and various institutions related to Yoga campaigns.
It was informed in the meeting that control room has been set up at headquarters level in the state. Apart from this, website has also been created for registration of participants. From 7 am to 8 am, Yoga would be done in these programmes to be held on June 21. According to common Yoga Protocol issued by Union Ministry of AYUSH, related yoga training has been given at district level.
Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma would be the chief guest in a district level function to be held in district Mahendragarh, Finance Minister Capt. Abhimanyu in Narnaund of district Hisar, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister OP Dhankar in Jhajjar city of district Jhajjar, Transport Minister Krishan Lal Panwar in Israna of Panipat, Urban Local Bodies Minister Kavita Jain in Rai of district Sonepat, Health Minister Anil Vij in Ambala Cantonment and Ambala City, Industry and Commerce Minister Vipul Goel and Krishan Pal in district Faridabad and Public Works (Buildings and Roads) Minister, Rao Narbir Singh and MP, Rao Inderjit Singh in district Gurugram.
The Minister of State for Public Health and Engineering Banwari Lal would be the chief guest at district level function to be held in Bawal of district Rewari, Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Krishan Kumar in Shahabad and Minister of State for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Karan Dev Kamboj in Indri.
Similarly, MP Ambala Ratan Lal Kataria would be the chief guest in a function to be held in district Panchkula, MP Kurukshetra Nayab Singh Saini in Kaithal, MP Sanjay Bhatia in Karnal, MP Ramesh Kaushik in Sonipat, former MP Ch. Birender Singh in Narwarna of district Jind, Member of
