To create awareness for voting among the Raipur city residents, a motorcycle rally is being organised almost everyday to traverse different localities of the capital city.
Raipur Lok Sabha seat will go to poll in the third phase on April 23 and through the rallies authorities are trying to convey to the electors to come out in large number to vote.
The government officials and employees are also participating in the event to motivate the city electors to cast their vote on the polling day.
The attraction of Tuesday’s rally was the “Bike Riders’ Group” that took part in the event among others.
The rally passed through Ghadi Chowk, Motibagh, Kalibadi, Sapre School, Purani Basti, Lakhe Nagar and concluded at Sunder Nagar garden. All those present took the pledge to cast their vote and also motivate all others to participate in polling.
On April 18, the bike rally would commence at 7.30 am at Anupam Garden-based ‘Neki ki Diwar’. On the occasion an event ‘Neki ka Matdaan’, will be conducted where sports materials, clothes and other items of day-to-day use would be distributed. Participants will also take a pledge to vote.
