The State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday criticized Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) for charging Rs 51,000 as application fees from party’s ticket aspirants and said that it is injustice with tribal and local people of the State.
Addressing a press meet here on Thursday, State BJP Spokesperson, Pratul Shahdeo said that JMM only talks about tribal and local people but it always dupes them.
“The party is charging ticket money from those people for whom JMM Supremo, Shibu Soren has been fighting for the past 50 years. The present leadership of JMM never wants that the people of last lane of society could become politically empowered. The JMM wants to give tickets to the candidates who fall under creamy layer category of tribal and local. JMM has no interest in development of poor tribal and local people and there is no idea how many lakhs the party will charge after giving ticket to the candidates,” he added. Comparing JMM with BJP, Shahdeo said that at one hand BJP workers of last lane get their due respect and they get opportunity to contest elections. “BJP is not taking any application fee. Opinions, which come after discussion among the party workers, are also getting proper weight. It all exhibits internal democracy in BJP,” he added. “Mahagathbandhan has lost its trust. The parties responsible for pushing the State towards naxalism and corruption will get exposed in front of the people of the State after the elections,” said Shahdeo.Criticising Opposition parties the BJP Spokesperson said that for getting power, Hemant Soren and Babulal Marandi left each other and they did not accept leadership of each other. “Election is only objective to get power for both of them, not to serve people.
It seems that Soren’s only objective is to get power in the State. For, this he is not hesitating to shake his hands with incarcerated Lalu Prasad Yadav, who is in jail due to convicted in fodder scam and Soren shake hand with Congress which is mother of nepotism. JMM can go till any strength to get power,” he added.
“The statement by State Congress Executive president and MLA, Irfan Ansari clearly shows the hidden agenda of the Grand Alliance, in which he said that Lalu Prasad will be out of jail after the Grand Alliance Government comes to power. This thug alliance is combination of those parties, which has been gathered at one stage to loot Jharkhand, the people of the State will show them in the upcoming election,” said Shahdeo.
