Artists present melodious rendition of devotional posts

On Friday marking the fifth day of the Tagore International Literature and Art Festival Vishwa Rang, the artists of the Gurukul Sansthan, Bhopal presented dhrupad singing of devotional songs.

Indian musicians were also joined by artists from countries such as Canada, Italy, London, France, among other groups of 50 artists. Artists of Gurukul Sansthan gave a melodious rendition of devotional posts such as Kabir Gaan, Shankar Girijapati on the first Adi Element Shakti, Raga Charukeshi based on Rabindra Sangeet.

The beautiful accompaniment of instruments like tabla, harmonium, dholak, mridang, pakhavaj made the performance even more musical. It is worth mentioning that all the artists of Gurukal Sansthan are trained with Padmashree Gundecha brothers of world fame.

During this, the Gundecha brothers were also present in the auditorium. He was honored by presenting mementoes by Santosh Chaube, director of Vishwa Rang.

Meanwhile, more than 1000 students of about 20 schools of Bhopal reached Minto Hall on Friday to see various forms of art in the Vishwa Rang.The students had a walk through various exhibitions along with viewing Jallianwala Bagh exhibition, book exhibition, facade exhibition. During this time, the students also met senior artists from abroad and India.

Besides, it is noteworthy that in order to connect the students with arts, theater, culture and literature, theater workshops are also organized at the Vishwa Rang.

Bhopal's renowned color director Manoj Nair, Niti Srivastava, Prem Gupta, Siddharth Wade, Akanksha Ojha, Hemant Devlekar and others taught the theater many tricks by making students aware of the aspects of theater. During this, they told the students through live presentations about mime, music, better use of craft and giving performances on theater.
