The chancellor of Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya and former Union Minister of State, Satya Pal Singh, along with the historians who gathered at a 'Swagat Samaroh' programme at the university on Friday, asserted that Aryans were not foreign invaders but natives of India. The 4,500 year old DNA from Rakhigadhi reveals that the Aryan myth was created by false historians
Since the name of India was Arya Vrat, the area where these Aryans resided was called as Aryavrat and this included major part of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan. Aryan symbolises the supreme people who are not only physically best but also have supreme mental faculties, said Singh.
He further said that Aryans developed the rural and urban culture and developed some efficient techniques of agriculture. Some western historians have wrongly spread the myth that Aryans came from outside India, he added.
