Asha workers to get incentive for making golden cards

The Health department would provide an incentive of Rs five to Asha workers for making of every golden card under Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand Yojana (AAUY).

Under the campaign launched by the department, the Asha workers would bring every member of the family of the beneficiary   to the Community Service Centre (CSC) for making of golden cards.

Informing about the scheme, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the state health authority Arunendra Singh Chauhan said that Asha workers are in direct contact with every family under the area allotted to them. He said that on every golden card, Asha worker would get an incentive of Rs five while Asha facilitator would be provided Rs one per card.  He added that the Asha worker making maximum golden cards at every sub centre would be provided a letter of appreciation and Rs 500. Similarly an incentive of Rs 2000 would be given to Asha facilitator instrumental in making maximum number of these cards at every block.
