Babulal Gaur was above party politics: Nath

Chief Minister Kamal Nath has expressed deep grief over the demise of former Chief Minister Babulal Gaur. In a condolence message Kamal Nath said that Babulal Gaur was the most accepted leader of the state above party politics. He was always concerned about the development of Bhopal with the state. When I was minister at the Centre, he came to me several times with the interests of Madhya Pradesh and never return empty-handed.

Kamal Nath said that Gaur was a hard working leader. He had a lively contact with the public. He did not compromise on public interest issues. He was an outspoken and forthright leader due to which he would express his views by going beyond the party line. Nath said that Gaur was fully enriched in parliamentary traditions and knowledge along with being a vigilant and sensitive leader.

His focus was always on development plans. He kept the ideology of his party separate from the works of development.

Nath said that with the passing away of Gaur, we have lost such a popular personality of politics, who believed in taking everyone along. He had deep faith in the concept of Sarvadharma Sambhav.

The Chief Minister said that I pray to God to grant peace to the departed soul and give the family the strength to bear this grief.

Chief Minister Nath reached the residence of Late Gaur at 74 bungalows where he laid a wreath on the mortal remains of late Gaur and paid tributes. He also met the bereaved family members and consoled them.
