The shopaholics of the city are enjoying shopping of Bagh prints at the ‘Bagh Utsav 2019’. Apart from traditional dress materials, the Bagh Utsav is captivating the interest of buyers for Bagh print on linen cloth.

Notably, for the first time the organizers have brought a colourful collection of bagh prints on linen. Usually, the bagh prints are available on cotton dresses, but this time not only the designs are attractive, but those who love linen material have a choice too.

The bagh utsav is evoking a good response by the Bhopalites as it exhibits the rarest collection in bagh prints. Looking into the wonderful response from the Bhopalites, the fair is extended for three more days. The exhibition cum sale will now conclude on Thursday.

Set at the rustic backdrop of historical shopping hub of the city, Gauhar Mahal the exhibition cum sale is adorned with beautiful bagh printed dresses, bed spreads and more. The vibrant colours like maroon, red, sea green, ocean blue are available at the exhibition.

While informing about the exhibition cum sale, organiser Umar Farrukh Khatri said, “This year we have received an overwhelming response by the Bhopalites and it is a tremendous experience. People are more interested in buying the cotton wears and the newly introduced bagh on linen material.”

Talking about the work they do on bagh prints, he said, “The specialty of our work which makes it different from others is that we hardly repeat the designs. Besides, we try and print bagh on almost all kinds of dress materials including Maheshwari and Chanderi.”

The buyers are attracted to the different motifs printed over dress materials.
