The meeting of the state cabinet, convened at chief minister’s official residence on Thursday late evening decided to restart the stalled work of extending mobile connectivity across the state under Sanchar Kranti Yojana (SKY) by initiating talk with the work agency.
Briefing media persons about the decisons taken in the meeting Minister for Forest, Law and Legal Affairs, Mohammad Akbar further informed that the cabinet also decided to make necessary legal amendments for Univesal Public Distribution System under which Above Poverty Line people could also avail the beninefits of PDS.
The meeting also discussed in detail the provisions of supplementary budget to be tabled in the upcoming session, he informed.
Meanwhile according to information the Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, who chaired the meeting, discussed in detail with his cabinet colleagues the possible issues the opposition BJP is going to raise during the five-day long session.
They specially discussed the issues of 9 adjournment motions, 74 call attention motions and 10 notices of zero hours on which the main opposition BJP will try to grill the treasury bench.
