Balkrishna discharged from hospital

Baba Ramdev’s aid and Chairman of Patanjali Balkrishna who was undergoing treatment at critical care unit of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Rishikesh was released from the hospital on Saturday afternoon.

The director of AIIMS Rishikesh Professor Ravi Kant said that Balkrishna was kept under observation of specialists was discharged from hospital.

He said that on Saturday afternoon, Balkrishna was discharged from the hospital after examinations by Neurologist, cardiologists and Critical care specialists.

Meanwhile on Saturday a string of high profile personalities converged at AIIMS Rishikesh on the day to know about the health of the Acharya.

On the day, Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat also visited the institute to inquire about the condition of Acharya Balkrishna. He held elaborate discussion with the director of the institute on the health of Acharya.

Apart from CM, former CM and senior BJP leader Bhagat Singh Koshyari, speaker of Uttarakhand assembly Premchand Agarwal, Swami Chiddanand of Parmarth Niketan, Tehri MP, Mala Rajya Laxmi Shah, education minister Arvind Pandey and others visited AIIMS.

The AIIMS Director Professor Ravikant told CM that a team of 50 doctors including Medical superintendent Dr Brahmprakash, Deen Academics Dr Surekha Kishore, Manoj Gupta, Dr V K Bastia, Dr Niraj Kumar, Dr Ankit Agarwal are keeping close observation on the parameters of Acharya.

Balkrishna was admitted in the AIIMS Rishikesh on Friday afternoon when he was referred from Bhumanand hospital in Haridwar after his condition deteriorated. In a statement Yog Guru Baba Ramdev had said that Acharya’s health deteriorated after consuming a Peda (sweet).

He had said that Patanjali would take any action after receiving all medical reports of Acharya.
