Baripada med students hold ‘Black Day’

Monday, 17 June 2019 | PNS | BARIPADA

Students of the Pandit Raghunath Murmu Medical College here observed ‘Black Day’ here as a mark of protest against the growing acts of violence against doctors in West Bengal.

The day was observed to show their solidarity with the striking junior doctors agitating across the country seeking West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerji’s unconditional apology for the ill-treatment meted out to doctors in her State.

Blaming antisocial elements for these attacks on doctors, they wondered how one can expect doctors to discharge their duties, when they are being humiliated and harmed, they added.
