The Bharatiya Janata Party state president and MP Ajay Bhatt has stressed that discipline is among the topmost priorities of the party and that indiscipline will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
In a statement issued by the party’s state media in-charge Devendra Bhasin, the BJP State president has cited the action taken against some office bearers and workers of the party for indiscipline during the ongoing Panchayat elections, stating that the action had been taken to strictly enforce discipline in the party. Bhatt further said that information is being received from some other places about some other party workers violating the directions of the party.
Strict action will be taken against such party workers after confirming their involvement in anti-party activities, irrespective of who they are and which post they are occupying. “The BJP is today the world’s largest political party.
One of the major reasons for this is the internal discipline of the party. Hence, it is a shared responsibility of all in the party to maintain discipline. No lenience can be allowed when it comes to party discipline,” said the BJP State president.
Bhatt further stated that two phases and other processes are yet to be completed in the three-tier Panchayat elections. The party is ensuring that none of its office bearers and workers violates the decisions and directions of the party.
The office bearer of party worker concerned will be responsible for the strict action which will be taken against him or her for violating the decisions and discipline of the party, stressed the party’s State president.
