Bhopal: Sensation over woman’s murder in property dispute

Sensation prevailed in the Chola Mandir area after a 35-year-old woman was strangulated to death over property dispute in the evening under Chola Mandir on Monday.

Police said that the deceased identified as Radha Sahu had dispute with her brother over property and in the evening she was strangulated to death. The deceased was murdered but she was killed by her brother or father is yet to be investigated.

The father of the deceased Nannulal Sahu and her brother Rewaram Sahu have been detained to reveal the murder. In the evening on Monday Rewaram came to provide food to his father and later Radha was found dead. After Radha died Nannulal informed his relative who informed police.

After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and started further investigation.

Chhola Mandir police said that Rewaram went missing after the death and possibly he had killed Radha and his father is trying to save him. During the investigation police found that the deceased separated from her husband after divorce. She had dispute with her brother over property after which he started to live at a rented house in the same area and used to provide food as Radha’s attitude towards her father was not good and she used to fight over petty issues. Radha and Rewaram used to have fights over property. Police said that a case of murder would be registered further in the investigation.
