Bhopal witnesses pleasant weather; temperature drops

Little comfort was felt in the weather which remained same as Sunday except rainfall which failed to pour. Weather condition during the day was pleasant in the State capital on Monday.

A few regions of the State recorded rainfall in the past 24 hours. Kevlari recorded 4 cm of rainfall, Nainpura, Mandla recorded 3 cm of rainfall, Malajkhand, Seoni, Sohagpur and Pushparajgarh recorded 2 cm of rainfall.

Cloud cover continued to be witnessed making the conditions cold throughout the day. Temperatures would dip after the system would fade away and clear sky conditions would prevail in the next 48 hours, said weatherman on Sunday.

The state capital witnessed day temperature at 27.2 degree Celsius which was 5 degree Celsius below the normal temperature while the night temperature was recorded at 20.7 degree Celsius and was 2.6 degree Celsius above the normal temperature.

Jabalpur and Hoshangabad divisions recorded rainfall while few parts of Indore, Rewa, Shahdol and Bhopal divisions recorded rainfall in the past 24 hours.

For the second consecutive day Hoshangabad division recorded significant dip in the day temperatures while Indore, Rewa, Shahdol and Bhopal also witnessed dip in temperatures.

The highest day temperature was recorded at 30 degree Celsius in Gwalior, Shivpuri and Sheopur while Betul continued to record the lowest night temperature at 15 degree Celsius.

According to the forecast day and night temperature would be witnessed around 27 and 19 degree Celsius respectively on Tuesday. The weather conditions would remain partially clouded.
