Bike rally, nature walk held in Raipur for voters’ awareness

Public Servants, villagers, nature lovers and representatives of social organisations participated in a bike rally followed by a “nature walk” as part of Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) programme launched by Raipur District Electoral Officer’s office to create awareness among electors.

The two-wheeler rally was flagged off by Commissioner, cultural department, Anil Kumar Sahu from collectorate premises. District Nodal Officer Dr Gaurav Kumar Singh led the rally.

Family court’s Principal Judge R.K. Agrawal, DFO Uttam Kumar Gupta, Municipal Corporation Additional Commissioner Avinas Bhoi and others participated in the bike rally along with different department officials and nature lovers.

The rally passed through Shastri Chowk, Naveen Bazaar, Vivekananda Ashram, Tatibandhi and culminated at Nandanvan. From there participants went for a “nature walk” within the Nandanvan. 

A villager, Chandrika administered oath to all present to cast their vote on April 23 without fail.
