BIT Mesra Lalpur Ext holds 4th convocation ceremony

Renowned education centre Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) Mesra, Lalpur extension held its fourth convocation ceremony on Sunday in which a total of 1700 students of the institute were present out of which 478 received their degree for various courses.

Addressing the gathering of the students on the occasion Revenue Registration, Land Reform, Tourism, Art and Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Amar Kumar Bauri said, “Today’s world is world of knowledge. Those who have knowledge are rich and intelligent.”

While wishing bright future for the students Bauri said don’t compare your opinion with any others opinion. “Your opinion will bring success for yourself at the right time. There are so many companies who don’t have experience but they have touched the sky. You should also with your opinion brighten the name of country and the institute,” he added.

Speaking on the occasion Vice Chancellor BIT Mesra, Lalpur, MK Mishra said that today’s society is society of knowledge and the institute is institute of knowledge.

“A total of 130 CEO’s in the country belonging to the institute. The students of BIT also get success in UPSC also. At present top four bureaucrats of the Jharkhand government belongs to the institute. The students after getting success from here are going to outside of the State to make their own identity in country and the world.”

A total of 478 students are got their degree on the occasion in various courses including Under Graduation, Post Graduation and Ph D. Two Students get degree in Ph D, 68 students in Post Graduation course and 408 students got their degree in Under Graduation course.

Students of the institute Anshu Kumari from BIT Kolkata Centre got Gold Medal in Bachelor of Computer Application. Puja Kumari and Shruti Tryambek got awarded in Ph D programme in Human Resource Management.
