BJD grabs 12 of 13 Ganjam Assembly seats

The BJD continued its winning spree in Ganjam district, the home turf of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, by grabbing all two Lok Sabha seats and 12 of 13 Assemble seats.

Pramila Bisoyi and Chandra Sekhar Sahu won the Aska and Brahmapur Lok Sabha seats, respectively.

Among the 12 of 13 Assemble seats, Naveen Patnaik won in Hinjili, Bikram Panda in Brahmapur, Dr Pradeep Panigrahi in Gopalpur, Subash Behera Chhatrapur, Surjya Narayan Patro in Digapahandi, Majula Swain in Aska and Purna Chandra Swain in Sorada.

K Surjyamani Baidya won in Khallikote, Usha Devi in Chikiti, Bikram Keshari Arukh in Bhanjanagar, Srikant Sahu in Polsara and Latika Pradhan in Kabisuryanagar.

Congress’ Ramesh Jena was the only candidate who won in Sana Khemundi.
