No one can block BJD to form the next Government in the Odisha, said Chief Minister and BJD supremo Naveen Pattaik during campaigning at Khamar College ground in Pallahara on Thursday.
The BJD Government thinks always for the development of Odisha people. But during election period the Central leaders are coming here to campaign against BJD and beg for vote in favour of their party, told Patnaik to a gathering.
The BJP is trying to scuttle our attempts to initiate welfare of the poor by discontinuing many Central schemes and reducing share in others, alleged Patnaik.
Patnaik also hit out at the BJP saying that it was dubbing the BJD Government inefficient just to mobilize the voters of Odisha .
"The Central Government is taking thousands crores of rupees as royality from coal mines of Odisha but paying only 33 per cent which is nominal to us. They are always creating obstruction in our path," Patnaik alleged further and reiterated promise for providing second installment financial assistance to 25 lakh farmers under KALIA scheme on the first day of the formation of the next BJD Government.
Targetting BJP leaders Dharmendra Pradhan and Jual Oram without taking their names, Patnaik said that the two Union Ministers hailing from Odisha are not striving at the Centre for the development of the State.
Among others, BJD leaders like MLA Mahesh Sahu , Mukesh Pal , State secretary Manoj Sahu , Sudarsan Behera, Kaniha and Pallahara Block presidents Kailash Sahu, Jogesh Bhukta were present.
There was a congregation of aroundmore than 5,000 people.
