Pradesh Congress Committee president Niranjan Patnaik on Wednesday refuted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s charge that the Congress doesn’t hesitate to divide the country to grab power.
“The Congress is driven by the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi and Constitution founder Dr BR Ambedkar. The party has never sown seeds of division on the basis of caste, creed, religion, temple, mosque or church. Rather it has brought the Independence and kept the country united thereafter. The entire country knows this Congress history,” said Patnaik.
The PCC chief ridiculed the PM’s charge, saying his party BJP is going to any extent to come to the power. “The BJP has formed Government in Goa and Manipur despite lacking adequate number. This shows how the BJP is doing cheap politics to grab power,” said Patnaik. He alleged that the BJP is changing its ideology everyday to grab power and Modi is fooling people telling lies only.
