BJP lauds Government for reserving non- gazetted post for locals

Thursday, 29 August 2019 | PNS | Ranchi

The State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday lauded the Cabinet decision of Raghubar Das Government, in which it has decided that only residents of the State will get jobs in non-gazetted posts including Group B, third grade and fourth grade jobs.

Speaking on the issue, the State BJP Spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo said that JMM had withdrawn support from Arjun Munda Government on the issue to define local policy. “During the 14 months tenure of Hemant Soren Government the file to define local issue had not moved even 14 steps, whereas Raghubar Government not only defined the local policy but also recent decision of Cabinet has made rule that grade three and grade four jobs will be given to only local aspirants. Tribal and aboriginal people will be mostly benefited by the decision,” he added.

“Hemant has only used tribal and aboriginal people for his politics but Raghubar Das led BJP Government has given the original rights to these people. It shows difference between words and deeds. The Raghubar Das Government has not only taken this decision but also it has canceled the old advertisement of State Government’s jobs and directed to State Staff Selection Commission to advertise for fresh vacancies. Due to this the local and tribals could get the job on old advertisements of jobs also,” said Shahdeo.

Hitting hard on Soren family the State BJP Spokesperson said that Soren should clarify to people that why he had not completed the work to define local policy, on which he had taken support from the Government. “In fact JMM does not want development of local and tribal and wants to use them as vote bank only. Now local and tribal people have known the reality of JMM and it is not hidden that in upcoming State Assembly Elections what will be the results,” he added.

Shahdeo also thanked Raghubar Das’ Government for starting pension scheme for scribes.
