BJP Ministers, MPs to camp at mandals

BJP Ministers in Centre, State, all MPs (Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha) will camp in all 513 party’s organisational mandals as part of BJP membership drive. The decision to this affect was taken at organisational BJP meeting held at party office. The meeting was attended by Chief Minister Raghubar Das, State co in-charge Ram Vichar Netam, State BJP election co in-charge Nand Kishore Yadav, State BJP unit president Laxman Gilua, BJP organisational secretary Dhrampal Singh and all MPs and MLAs.

BJP State general secretary, Deepak Prakash said, “At the meet it was decided that to strengthened party at grass root level and to make the ongoing membership drive of BJP a huge success. All MPs and ministers both at centre and state will camp at mandals.” Prakash said, “At mandal-level these leaders will work for days taking out padyatras, meeting people door to door and highlighting the achievements of Modi Government at Centre and Raghubar Das Government in State.”  All these leaders will camp at 10 mandals each.

The camping of these leaders at mandal level assume importance as BJP has set a target to make 30 lakh members across the State ahead of year-end Assembly elections. The party has assigned all MLAs to make 50,000 members from their respective Assembly constituency. In those areas where there is no MLAs, the task has been assigned to respective district presidents.

At the meeting it was also discussed on ways to attain 65 plus seats in Assembly election. The party after thumping victory in Lok Sabha elections has set a target of winning 65 plus seats. In Lok Sabha election, the party has won 12 Lok Sabha seats. If Assembly wise trend of Lok Sabha results is analyzed than the party is easily to win 60 plus seats. In the meeting the prominent leaders who attended included Khunti MP and Union Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda, Dhanbad MP PN Singh, Palamu MP VD Ram, Lohardaga MP Sudarshan Bhagat, Koderma MP Annapurna Devi, Chatra MP Sunil Singh, Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth.

Ministers from Raghubar Das Cabinet, including Neel Kanth Singh Munda, CP Singh, Saryu Roy, Louis Marandi, Raj Paliwar, Randhir Kumar Singh, Ramchandra Chandravanshi, Amar Bauri among others. Former State presidents, Ravindra Rai, Yadunath Pandey and others too attended the meet.
