BJP protests over water, power woes

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held a protest over scarcity of water and electricity in the national Capital against the Delhi Government in Janakpuri area.

Addressing the protesters, senior BJP leader and former South Delhi  Mayor Narendra Kumar Chawla alleged that the tanker mafia is looting the public taking advantage of the prevailing situation in Delhi.

Alleging that the Kejriwal Government has failed to provide clean drinking water to citizens, he said “Even the water supplied by the Government is mixed with sewer water and not fit for consumption,”

Hundreds of party volunteers, leaders and members of women wing participated in the protest.
