BJP seeks cancellation of PTM with Sisodia on April 20

Friday, 19 April 2019 | Staff Reporter | NEW DELHI

BJP National Secretary Sardar RP Singh has demanded the cancellation of mega Parent Teacher Meeting (PTM) being called by the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia to be held on April 20, 2019.

Singh has filed a complaint with Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) alleging that Sisodia will use the PTM platform for the publicity of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for general elections.

In his complaint to the CEO, Singh has written, “Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia is trying to influence the Loksabha Elections 2019 by holding the meeting of the parents of the children studying in Delhi Government schools at the cost of public money and it is also violation of Model Code of Conduct.”

“The AAP leader has formed a team to meet the parents whose basic work is  to suggest the ways to improve the ability of the students and the education system but contrary to it most of the members of team are AAP workers who will appeal to the parents not to vote for BJP,” Singh said further.
