Giving a list of coal blocks allotted to Adani group along with iron ore block no 13 in Bailadila hills, the Congress accused the BJP of suppressing the facts with the help of its alleged ‘B’ team, the Janta Congress Chhattisgarh (J). In a statement, state general secretary and chairman communication wing of the party Shailesh Nitin Trivedi said the important dates in allotment of iron ore block no 13 in Bailadila hills proved that Raman Singh-led BJP government provided undue benefit to the Adani group in a well planned way. The agreement for allotment of block no 13 was inked by NCL CMD and Chairman, National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) on December 6, 2018 and the Congress government took the oath on December 17, 2018, he said. This proves that the then BJP in a well planned way benefitted the Adani group, he added.
Trivedi further said that if the BJP government was concerned about interest and welfare of the state then the people of region were not forced to agitate and launch a protest. He further blamed that BJP governments at the Center and in states where it's in power were hatching conspiracy to benefit the party's corporate friends and handing over precious mineral resources to them.
