BJP to focus on welfare schemes for poll campaigning

Sunday, 22 September 2019 | PNS | Ranchi

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president-cum- Union Home Minister, Amit Shah, on Saturday held talks with the party officials through video conferencing and gave tips about future plan.

The State BJP held State Assembly Election Core Committee meeting today in presence of the party Vice president and Co-ordinator of the election committee, Om Mathur. Shah interacted with party workers during the meeting. It was decided during the meeting that the party will spread messages about benefit of welfare programmes run by the Centre and the State Government.

Addressing the party office bearers and workers during the meeting Mathur appealed the party workers to manage the booths strongly and announce the victory of the party from their booth.

“There is a positive feeling in the mind of the people in the State about the development work done by the government. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has special attention on the development of Jharkhand and he has changed the political culture of the country in last five years. Jharkhand has made its own identity in every sector and the party workers should spread it among every households of the State so that the party can achieve its target in the upcoming State Assembly elections,” said Mathur.

Lauding the works done by the Centre and the State Government Mathur said, “Double engine Government is continuously working in the interest of people of all castes and religions and every people of the society will be benefited by the ongoing development of the Government.”

Addressing the gathering of the party workers during the meeting Deputy Co-ordinator of the committee, Nand Kishore Yadav said that there is immense possibility in Jharkhand. “Jharkhand is known all over the world for its mineral wealth, if it is better used, the State may stand in the top of the States in the Country in the coming years. In the last five years, Modi and the Raghubar Government have written a new story of development and told that no one can stop the State from becoming prosperous state. Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to see smile on every face of the people of the State that is why after forming the Government in 2014, he started many welfare schemes and ended the rule of middlemen by sending money directly to the beneficiary’s account through Direct Benefit Transfer,” he added.

While appealing to the party workers Yadav said that the workers should go door-to-door to present the achievements of the Government among the public and tell how Jharkhand has carved out a distinct identity in India in the last five years, but there are many challenges still to be faced which give us further opportunity to deal with it.

BJP State president Laxman Gilua also addressed the meeting. BJP State General Secretary, Dharmpal Singh reviewed the development work done by the Government and given required instructions to the party workers.
