A day-long blood group identification camp was organised under the auspices of New J.K Medical Hall, Bokaro thermal at Shankar UMS, Six unit BTPS for all teachers and students here on Tuesday. Dr H Kumar, spoke on the importance of identifying the blood group of every school going children as part of antenatal care.
According to Principal, Shyama Kumari, more than 64 students participated and got their blood group identified.
A good blood group directory is now available at Shankar UMS, Bokaro thermal.
The main objective of this free blood group detection camp was to know once own health status thus the blood group certificate would also be provided to their parents.
Officer-in Charge of Bokaro thermal police station Umesh Kumar Thakur, social activist Yogendra Giri, Bhuneshwar Saw, jointly inaugurated the camp held on the school campus and appreciated the efforts of the New J K medical Hall. Seema Kumari, Nilu Kumari, Sanjay Kumar,and other staffs ,who were present on the occasion.
