Builders asked to submit progress report of projects with geo-tagged pictures

Sunday, 22 September 2019 | Staff Reporter | RAIPUR

Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) on Saturday asked builders to submit the progress report of their projects with geo-tagged photos every three months.

The direction came during a meeting of RERA chaired by its Chairman Vivek Dhand here with a representative of various colonizers. Dhand asked colonizers to mandatorily submit all information related to their RERA specified accounts by September 30. Also, he told them to submit detailed information of property sold to ‘Book my Show’ in specified format.

The colonizers were asked to submit three copies of their project-brochures with RERA and Raipur Municipal Corporation.

In case a colonizer changes its CA, Engineer or architect then RERA should be immediately informed about the change.

“Every project should have a RERA specified and RERA regular account. Seventy percent of money received from allottees should be submitted with RERA specified account while remaining 30 per cent should go into RERA regular account,” he said while adding for every project there should be RERA specified account.

According to Dhand, against the receipts of RERA specified account no loan should have been taken against them. If the promoter fails in complying with rule and regulations of RERA then money withdrawal from project account can be stopped.
