Bullet ridden body of youth found in Dhurwa

Early in the morning on Monday body of 20-year-old youth was found at Dhurwa HEC Hospital Campus under Dhurwa Police Station in Ranchi. The boy got bullet injury on his forehead and a country made pistol was kept near the body.

The youth was identified as Kundan Kumar, son of Manoj Jha, resident of CTC Colony, Dhurwa under Dhurwa Police Station in Ranchi. Some people were on morning walk that saw the body and slowly the news become budge word early in the morning in the area. Some of them informed Dhurwa Police Station about the incident and after getting the information the Dhurwa Police Team reached the spot immediately.

Dhurwa Police Station Incharge Devendra Yadav informed that it is murder or suicide it can’t be confirmed because investigation is still going. “At the first sight it seems that someone shot the boy as the deceased got bullet in front of his forehead just above his nose and the country made pistol was kept there to show that the deceased committed suicide,” he added.

The boy left his house at around 8.30 pm on Sunday evening and he didn’t return home whole night his father Manoj Jha got news of his death early in the morning through his neighbours, Yadav said.

“As soon as Dhurwa Police got the information about the incident it reached the spot instantly and seized the body and sent it for postmortem at Rajendra Institute of Medical Science (RIMS). We can say anything after getting the postmortem report,” said Yadav.
