Miscreants targeted house of Deputy Director of ITI Govindpura and escaped with valuables worth Rs 1 lakh on Monday; Ashoka Garden police have started investigation.
Police said that the victim Dhan Singh Thakur had gone to Indore to meet family and when he returned on Monday he found that the valuables were burgled.
A complaint was lodged by the victim with the Ashoka Garden police and in his complaint, he stated that he had gone to Indore on August 14 to meet his family and when he returned on Monday his house was found burgled.
The victim works a Deputy Director at ITI Govindpura and lives in the Government Quarters in the ITI premises.
The victim claimed that a laptop, gold and silver jewelry and cash were burgled. The victim has claimed that the total loss in the burglary is around Rs 1 lakh.
Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 457 and 380 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
