C’garh govt putting spanner on development: Shah

BJP national president Amit Shah lambasted the Congress claiming in last six decades, when the party was in power, the tribal and villagers did not see any development.

“Modi government is working in a planned matter, but the Congress government in Chhattisgarh is creating hindrance,” the BJP leader said at an election rally.

He said the unemployment allowance to youth has not been given as promised by the Congress, cement rates have gone higher, Ayushman Bharat scheme for the poor had been scrapped.

“The transfer industry has been introduced,” Shah said, alluding to series of transfer of officials the Congress government initiated, and said , the fiscal condition of the state has deteriorated.

Shah said Congress president Rahul Gandhi should clear his policy on terrorism, adding whenever Modi government took action against terrorists, it was the Congress which raised question.

He said Modi government is returning to power.

Shah spoke on the Pulwama attack and the subsequent action taken by the Modi government. “After air strike, gloom prevailed at two places, one at Pakistan and another at Congress Party office,” he said.

“No one can separate Kashmir from India. Intruding terrorists will be identified and killed,” he added.

Shah also flayed  Baghel- government for putting a ban on the CBI in the state.  He claimed that under BJP rule, Chhattisgarh was a progressive state.
