Chhattisgarh ranked third in the country in the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tools for empowering the Panchayat bodies in the state as per the ranking of the Union Ministry of Panchayati Raj.
Under e-Panchayat Puraskar, performance assessment parameters were developed for monitoring the efficient utilization of e-Application for the performance year 2017-18. There were three categories and the state of Chhattisgarh was adjudged third in the category- I, a letter from union Panchayat ministry informed.
