Campaign in Haryana to give new looks to PWD buildings

Haryana Public Works Minister, Rao Narbir Singh on Tuesday said that a special campaign would be launched to give a new look to the buildings of departments as well as the buildings of Primary Health Centers, Community Centers and schools in the state.

"Special attention would be paid for different wall colours for different buildings so that people could easily identify,: he said.

In a statement issued here, Rao Narbir said that the way road network have been strengthened in Haryana by setting an advance target of the works to be carried out, now, in the same way, a campaign should be launched to give a new look to the buildings of all primary health centers, community centers and schools. Besides this, Nirman Sadan would be constructed in all the 11 circles of the department. It is noteworthy that out of 11 circles, the construction of state-of-the-art buildings of Nirman Sadan has been completed in three circles.

The minister said that Road Over Bridges and Road Under Bridges have been constructed on priority basis, where ever required on the other main road routes of Haryana and this work would not be left incomplete anywhere in the state. He said that the department is constructing 33 feet wide roads and in future, the proposal is also being considered to get constructed roads lesser wider than 33 ft by the Public Works Department.
