Miscreants targeted a house in Neelbad and escaped with valuables worth Rs 65,000 on Sunday. Victim lodged complaint after valuables were found missing on Monday, Ratibad police have started investigation.
The victim Sunil Malviya lodged a complaint regarding burglary of valuables from his house.
A pair of gold ear rings, gold chain and cash were burgled. The total loss in the burglary was Rs 65,000 claimed the victim. Police have registered a case under sections 457 and 380 of the IPC and started further investigation. During the investigation police found that wedding function was scheduled at victim’s house and during which the valuables were burgled. Meanwhile, two laptops were stolen from Surendra Palace under Baghsewania police station area; victim lodged complaint on Monday.
Police said the victim Brijpal Singh found in the morning on Sunday that two laptops were stolen.
In his complaint the victim stated that he lives with two other roommates and in the morning on Sunday he found that the electronic goods were found stolen.
The two laptops were of the victim and his roommate.
Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 380 of IPC against unidentified miscreant. The victims are student engineering of a private College.
Police suspect that the miscreants were aware of the routine of the victims which helped them to steal valuables in little time.
At the time of the incident the door of the room was open which provided easy entry and escape to the miscreant.
