CBSE swimming national championship from today

The Prestigious CBSE Swimming National Championship is being organized and hosted by Gyan Ganga International Academy, Bhopal from November 11 to 16.

Around 1,900 participants, coaches and managers from across 8 Zones of India and 1 Gulf Zone are going to participate in this Mega Sports Event.

The Opening Ceremony of the Event will be organized at Gyan Ganga International Academy. PC Sharma, Cabinet Minister, Law & Legal Affairs has kindly consented to be the Chief Guest for the occasion. Jeetu Patwari, Minister, Sports, Youth Welfare & Higher Education has kindly consented to be the Guest of Honour. The ceremony will be an amalgamation of cultural events and the March Past by all the participating schools with their school flag.

After the Administering of Oath by the Chief Guest, the meet will be declared open. The Event is being organised at Prakash Taran Pushkar, Tulsi Nagar with the technical support of the Bhopal Swimming Association.

The stay and food arrangements for around 800 participants and their coaches is being organised at the Academy premises. Gyan Ganga International Academy has, in the year 2002 successfully hosted the CBSE Swimming Nationals and is again ready with full vigour and enthusiasm to roll out the Welcome Carpet to all the participants.

The event will be an adrenaline-pumping championship which will witness young and robust scholars competing for Gold, Silver and Bronze medals under various categories. The Participants will participate in U-11, U-14, U-17, U-19 categories in a wide range of swimming events like Breast Stroke, Butterfly Stroke, free style etc.

The Aquathlon Championship will also be organized which includes swimming and 3 km run on Link road -1.Around 150 participants will participate in this Event. The event will conclude on November 16, 2019 with the Closing Ceremony and the Prize Distribution.

The city of lakes will witness the true sense of diversities where the students representing different parts of the country will assemble under the hospices of Gyan Ganga International Academy.
