Central Coalfields Limited celebrated Holi with fervour and gaiety at Vichar Manch, Darbhanga House on the evening of March 20. Holi Milan Samaroh was held in which CMD CCL Gopal Singh, Director (Personnel) R S Mahapatro, Director( Technical/Operations) V K Srivastava, Director Technical(P&P), Bhola Singh, General Mangers/Hods from different departments of headquarters and others were present.
CMD, CCL Gopal Singh, greeted each member of the CCL family as well as stakeholders on occasion of Holi. While addressing the gathering, Sri Singh said that the colour of Holi does not change when smeared on faces of individual, red colour remains red, yellow too maintains its identity of yellow and these various colours is an indicator of the fact that we are all members of a same family and spreading message of brotherhood. He said the ancestors had spread message of Holi, i.e, fraternity in our society as colour of festival (Holi) brings peace, joy and prosperity in everyone’s lives.
R S Mahapatro, V K Srivastava and Bhola Singh also greeted the employees on this occasion of Holi.
Renowned local artist Sri Shashi Bhushan Kumar and his team entertained people by singing folk songs including Bhojpuri songs. The programme was compered by SK Singh. Jagannath Sahu, Anil Kumar Sahni and others played a significant role in holding the programme.
