The Chandan festival began with great pomp and show on May 11 in Khamar here.
In a meeting on the occasion held under the chairmanship of president, Jubilee Committee, Prasanna Kumar Sahu, Pallahara MLA Mahesh Sahu attended as chief guest, while Principal, Telkoi College ,Managobinda Sahu joined as chief speaker. Talcher MLA Braja Kishore Pradhan and Laxminrayan Biswal also were present as distinguished guests.
On the second day of the function, former Rajya Sabha MP Rudra Narayan Pani joined as chief guest , while BJP leaders Lingaraj Dash, Ashok Mohanty , 22 No Zone Zilla Parishad member Sobhangini Pradhan, 24 No Zone Member Saroj Sahu attended as guests.
