Chhola Mandir police would investigate murder case of a 32-year-old man who was found dead under suspicious circumstances by Harda police in August this year. Deceased went missing after visiting house of in-law at Raslakhedi.
According to the police, the deceased identified as Mahesh Jaat went to meet his in-laws on August 10 this year and after six days he was found dead near bank of Narmada river in Harda.
Police were informed and a team reached the spot. It was found that the body was of Mahesh of Bhopal.
Body was sent to the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
On Monday Harda police have transferred the case to Chhola Mandir police for further investigation. Police have registered a case of murder and started further investigation.
During the investigation it was found that the Mahesh had gone to house of in-laws and later left for his house alone on his bike but went missing and it was only after six days that his body was recovered by Harda police.
The mobile call record details and statements of family and friends would be investigated. The family members lodged missing complaint of the deceased on August 11, 2019 with the Chola Mandir police.
Mahesh was killed on the same day or was killed and duped in Harda could not be ascertained and has to be investigated said police.
