As per the direction by the State Commission for the Protection of Child Rights (SCPCR), a three day long event ‘Children Assembly’ would start from Sunday. The Speaker of Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly, Prem Chand Agarwal will inaugurate the first Session of Assembly.
In the event, children representing 70 Vidhan Sabhas will highlight the problems of their respective constituencies with Prem Chand Agarwal in chair. SCPCR chairperson Usha Negi will also interact with all the children discussing various issues and their solutions.
In the third and concluding Session of the Assembly, the chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat along with Usha Negi and MLA Gyan Singh Rawat will be present as the chief guest of the programme.
