Children of GeM programme experienced sky view

nChildren of Girl Empowerment Mission of the NTPC’s Sipat unit experienced the sky view with the help of three Newtonian telescopes brought by a professor of Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University, Astro-science department, Raipur and Chhattisgarh Science board.

With the help of heavy 150mm telescope children experienced the planetarium view at Sipat. Asst. Professor Nandkumar Chakradhari explained all the questions and curiosity of children regarding movement of star, planet and its sate light.

They show four sate lights of Jupiter, Aayo, Europa, Ganymede and Callisto moving in their orbit in 10.5 hours and the air belts made during that time. At the end of the programme AGM (FQA) Sampat Kumar Ramu, AGM (TS/FES) Rajesh Daga honoured the team members with memento.
