Children's Day Festival ‘Pankh' concludes

The Children's Day Festival 'Pankh' concluded with a lot of fervour here on Tuesday. The play 'Taana Baana Toot Na Jaye' and a Laughter Show were performed here at Ravindra Bhavan Auditorium.

Pankh was organised in city in the memory og Former Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru and to observe his birth anniversary.

During the fest, various creative activities were organized for children from November 14 to 19. On the closing day of the event, the drama "Taana Bana Tut Nahi Jaaye" and Jai Chaniara's Laughter Show were presented.

The concluding ceremony saw the first performance of the drama "Taana Bana Tut Jaaye" directed by Sadat Bharti, Katni. Food chain, environment and multinational company have been highlighted for the deteriorating balance of nature. Everything of nature is important in the play and it must be preserved, the message conveyed through this iconic theater performance.

Tana Bana’ written by Asif Naqvi was based on food chain and environment. Moreover this play also gave a blur about the incoming of MNCs and ruining the lives of the people in disguise of opportunities.

The final presentation of the ceremony was a laughter show of Jai Chhaniyara, a resident of Ahmedabad. Prior to the Laughter Show, Jai Chhaniara expressed his thoughts about Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and narrated the children's jokes.
