He had gone for a routine check-up to Kolkata and returned by Howrah-Mumbai Mail at Tatanagar Station at around 11.40 pm and soon after boarding the SUV at Tatanagar Station complained of breathlessness and chest pain. He was rushed to TMH where he was declared as brought dead,” said a relative.
Sarkar, an avid golfer and one of the leading criminal lawyers in Jamshedpur civil court for close to four decades is survived by his wife Sushmita Sarkar, son Subir Sarkar, a practicing lawyer in Mumbai HC and daughter Shruti Sarkar.
