Capital City’s beauty, 25- year-old Rachna Tiwari, has been featured in the September edition of the Vogue India magazine while modeling for a fashion designer called Tanushavy. The city based model has also been featured in the celebrity magazine Gladrags in September 2019.

“September has been a great month for me. I had been trying for a feature in Gladrags for the past three years. And, this year fortunately I got a call from Mumbai informing that I had been featured. Vogue India is something I had not imagined and planned at the moment and right now it feels I have crossed a milestone. I was hoping for a coverage in Vogue in the years to come,” said the ecstatic model.

While shooting for a brand called MBeera, Tiwari stumbled upon an opportunity to shoot for Tanushavy and eventually got featured in Vogue India.

From a young age Tiwari has been passionate about modeling and always wanted o make a career in this industry. A die heart admirer of Lisa Haydon, Tiwari considers herself to be the super models biggest fan.

“There are many famous personalities in the modeling industry but the way Lisa Haydon represents herself is a class apart. I really look up to her while walking the ramp for a designer or during a photo shoot,” said Tiwari.

Tiwari has been modeling since 2014 and started her career with Designer Next India and since then there has been no looking back. She was also involved with the Swedish brand called Oriflame for product launch for 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 and also the New York based brand Avon in 2017.In 2017, Tiwari represented Jharkhand in the East zone and was adjudged as the second runner up at AHF India- a California based organisation at Mr and Ms Attitude 2017. The model has done advertisements shoots for Mumbai designer Payal & Nikila and has also worked with celebrity photographer Rohan Gandotra.

Tiwari completed her schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya, CISF, Dhurwa and is a graduate from Marwari College in B.com. She is currently pursuing her MBA in dual specialization from Vinayaka Mission University. The model is also working with the IT Department for IIM Ahmadabad for the State government.

Presently Tiwari wants to focus on her modeling career before switching to television or movies. “A couple of tears back I did get an opportunity from a TV channel, but acting is not my comfort zone. As of now am not too sure about taking a plunge into the movie industry but want to work for big brands and leading designers. Its best to wait and watch and see what life has in store for me,” she added.

A resident of Pundag, Tiwari is the youngest of three siblings and feels her family, especially her sister has been her biggest supporters. “Initially when I had started my parents were a little apprehensive but with time as I started with working with designers and brands, they too accepted it.

My parents have always wanted to see me featured in an international magazine and I feel I have just made their dreams come true,” said an elated Tiwari. Her father Brijkishore Tiwari works for a private company while her mother Saroj Tiwari is a home maker.
