Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has announced Rs 2 lakh ex-gratia for family of each of those killed in the road accident in Tharali Tehsil of Chamoli district on Sunday.
He has also announced Rs 50,000 financial assistance for each of the injured. It is pertinent to mention that nine people died and five were injured in the mishap. The Chief Minister has already ordered a magisterial enquiry into the accident.
